I bought this CD player at Best Buy using a gift certificate I received for Christmas, and I also layed down more for a 2-year warranty (hard to turn down), which is good for repairs or replacements at Best Buy. This is a good CD player for the price. The sound is excellent, especially with the bass boost on. It sounds great coming from my 6 1/2″ Infinity speakers. The car accessories that come with it are pretty nifty, too. I was torn between buying an in-dash CD player and this, but all-in-all I’m happy with my purchase. It works out especially well for me, since I am allowed to listen to music while I’m at work. Most of my day is spent working, so I’m definitely getting my money’s worth. There are a couple of drawbacks, though. The button to open the CD player pretty much sucks, especially when you’re trying to open it while you’re driving. It can be a downright dangerous task at times. The volume contol buttons aren’t much good either because they’re really small and are also a pain to mess with while driving. The good outweighs the bad, though, so in my opinion it’s worth the money.
